Installing WordsWorth 9x to non-Jwin OS
Author: Wingzero
Updated: 2000-05-15
The biggest problem for installing Words Worth 9x to non-Japanese operating system is that the default installation script the comes with the game doesn't work on non-Japanese operating systems. However, there is a way around it:
- Install Netshowplayer (disk 1)and Direct X 6 (disk 2)
- Create a directory and follow the directory structure of this link.
- Simply copy all necessary files from both disk 1 and 2.
- If you are running Win95, you will run into user32.dll probelm and need to use imek to modify wwbase.exe. (Note: This will create a dummy file call wwbase.exe.org)
- Remember you will need all MS multimedia codec in order for the
game to work. - That should be it, click wwBase.exe and enjoy the game!
Enjoy!
