Libido 7
Author: Hentai Helper
Updated: 1999-12-19

This is some advice and a photoshop patch for the Windows adult
anime game "Libido 7". It runs under Windows 3.1x and Windows 95.
Video resolution needed is 640*480*256 (16 colors is pretty
bad-looking). All files necessary reside in two directories; a
main directory (call it LIBIDO) and a single sub-directory
(LIBIDOWPC). Do "pkunzip -d libido.zip" when unzipping to make
sure the sub-directory is created properly. You don't need any
special Japanese fonts to make this work, although NJWIN makes
the Japanese text more readable.

When you start the LIBIDO program, it may complain about MIDI
devices if you don't have any MIDI drivers installed - the game
plays MIDI music! The MIDI files in the game work best in
Extended MIDI mode (channels 1-10). Turning on all 16 channels
will sound sort of strange. Either way, the game will show a
strange triangular thing for a while - click after a bit and it
will go away, but it takes longer depending on how slow your
computer is. You may hear a strange noise during that triangular
thing, apparently the game sort of resets the MIDI settings, but
doesn't do a very good job! You may also have strange-sounding
music if your SB 32 AWE PnP is in OPL3 mode - switch it back to
AWE mode.

Yes, the splash screen does change, between at least 5 different
pictures. Try starting the program again, and you will probably
see a different picture.

Once the main program starts, the "Prologue" and 1 through 7
boxes trigger sequences. After you've seen all of them, the
"Epilogue" can be selected.
The "Omake" is the Photoshop for this game. Right click to exit
it.

Or if you're in a hurry, edit the WIN.INI file to add a [Libido]
group with a "Libido7=9709" entry, and that should turn on all
the boxes, including the Omake.

Under the top left menu (where the close, restore, and minimize
entries usually are), there are two extra options: Options and
About. The important one is Options. If you don't want to have to
click several hundred times and wait up to several hours while
sitting through all 9 sequences, turn both of these on. The
"Self-Moving" one speeds things up, the other one is apparently
a sound control that shuts off the "voice bars" when the
characters are supposedly talking (and also speeds things up).

If you have anything to add to this file, or would like to trade
this or other adult anime games, please let me know.
