Name: Vantage Master V2 (98.00% in 5 votes)
Type: RPG
Platform: WINDOWS
Company: Falcom
Release date: 1998
Reviewed by: ^_^

Words from Falcom: "Vantage Master" is very different from ordinary Falcom works. It is the simulation RPG which describes showdowns between spirit summoners. Super laborate graphics made by PC, direction and thought algorithm which overwhelming CPU power make the best use of, the system which goes well with Windows95. "Vantage Master" which was thought out and developed as a PC game should be a fresh experience for all Windows95 users.

In Vantage Master (VM2), you can create 18 different characters, range from wizard, magician, knight, priest, half, spirit, kung fun master all the way to war-lord and king. Of cause each character has different powers and tactics.

You can summon spirit from Water, Fire, Land, and Air, those four elements And each element has 6 different spirits, that gives you 24 different spirits plus the magic spells to play with.

There are four different modes in this game: Scenario, Expert, Free, and Network.

In the Scenario Mode you will learn a spell or how to summon a type of spirit, after you win a battle and with 24 different types of Naitai, you can have all the fun you want.

In Expert Mode, all of the spells and spirits are given to you already. so, it is for the people who enjoy playing "Iron age" in AOE. ^_^

For the Free Mode , it is just like expert mode, where you have learned all the spells and summons already. and it is for the people who feel like just play one single battle.

Network: Do I have to say any more? Huh!!! It is for playing with your friend over on a modem or what ever you have.

Rating:

Story: There isn't much of a story to this type of game so, I will give it a 6/10

Graphics: the Intro graphics is very cool, but the graphics in battle mode is not that hot. 8/10

Game play: It is fun to play with, but it gets really boring after a while. 8.5/10

Music: The midi in this game are awesome, specially with the Yamaha's midi program (you know... the one that give you 128+ instruments) 9.5/10

Overall: I give it a 8/10. Come on, it is a nice game give it a try.. ^_^
