Overview:
You are Jack Martin, a drunken, selfish, sex-driven bastard of a detective. You recently received a job to capture the inter-galactic terrorist "Phantom". The Phantom has been confirmed to be heading toward a galactic convention on a transteller shuttle. This is where you come in.
With your Psychic partner Lenny, you board the shuttle with the Phantom, and before the shuttle reaches its destination, you must apprehend the Phantom.
The question is, which one's the Phantom?
Story: 5%
I've played through Jack, sat down after the ending, and thought really, REALLY hard, and I came up with this conclusion.
Apparently, the Script Writer for this game skipped town in the middle of his work. There's no other explanation for it, Jack's script's must have changed hand in the middle of the process or it would haven't been this bad.
How bad? Well, the thing is, this game's story had promise. An unknown terrorist, A bastard of a Dick, a space ship with no escape, and throw in a murder mystery. It could have been so good...
But they flushed it all down the John...
By the way, does anyone know what happened at the end? I lost track around the part where the dragon showed up.
H-degree: 75%
Well, if there's anything nice I can say about the game, it'd have to be the H-scenes. Silky's always mange to get this part right and from the looks of it, they managed to save them selves from a digit score.
Graphics: 50%
For 16-colors, the pics in this game aren't that bad. I've seen better, but I've seen worse that used 256 colors. The only gripe I have would have to be the fact that most graphics are in the framed window that is only about 3/4 of the screen.
Sound: 50%
No music. Bummer, I got to give this game an extra 5 points.
Game Play: 30%
Like the other Adventure games, the Gameplay is, well in a word, adventurous. You click commands, look, save, get killed, have sex, Etc. Etc...
The sever gripes I have about this game is that during the first part of the story, there's a game deciding road you must take or you die later in the game. I wouldn't usually complain about these things, but the fact that the decision and the result is about an hour apart (if you skip all the lines) just really pissed me off, not to mention the fact that I had to restart the game because I saved over the part before the decision was made. And as if to grind salt into an open wound, Silky's forgot to add a line skip feature (ctrl) which left me clicking, and clicking, and clicking, and clicking, and clicking, and clicking... Till I clicked on the wrong decision again!!!!!!!
Extras: 50%
There's a Picture viewing mode that seems logical and almost a requirement in most H-games. That's about it, unless you want to know about an "Upcoming" Game that Silky's is making (which already came out by the way).
