The last trip to japan was a total success. I was able to pick out a load of LDs and DVD sets that will take a me a few months to finish. Eager of watching them right after I stepped into my room I finished the Blue6 Series.

Thrilled by the graphics, DTS, and story I now sit here with heart still pounding unable to rest. Unable to put down the DVD I decided that I must let the world know that this is an awesome anime.

At first thought many old timer would think Blue6 is just an old animation/manga from the early 90s or late 80s. But actually this sert of OVA is brand new and yet using tons of CGs and best sound effects ever.

Story
Its past the millenium and once again humanity is threatended with annialation. Green house effect killed 90% of land mass leaving people on roof tops and bots. New species were developped by a ecologist to run out and 'punish' humanity. Trained for emergency the NAVY of every country had 1 powerful submarine. Our focus lands on Aonorokugo Blue Submarine 6. It carries the most talented crews. The strugle if between nature and humanity. If you want to know more about the story you will have to watch it :)

Graphic
This animation is made both 2D and 3D scenes. The submarine and fighters is ofcourse 3D. The characters are drawn in 2D. The excellent joint production makes it undetectable of any faults. Powerful animators created the lines of submarines and ghost ships. Beautiful country lines and ocean. The explotions and the fire drawn to high detail of unpeckable state.

Music/Sound
The sound on this DVD release is a state of art. Its surround technics are far better than Spriggan's sounds. The director was talented in remix of this DTS copy. The OST it self is a hit in the market of today. This music by it self can make your heart beat the way it wanted to. The music is really exciting and clear.

I would recommend this 4 DVD OVA to anyone who likes animation. Its got abit of everything. Anyone would like it.

Story 9/10
Graphics 10/10
Sound 10/10
Over all 9.8/10

Yet this is the highest score i have given for Animation.
