Many of you may have heard of this series before, in one or another of its incarnations. This game has cursed other platforms as well, namely the PC Engine, Saturn, and Playstation. It's one of a few games in the sub-genre of chick fighters, and also the worst of that genre. Other titles in this genre are Advanced Vaiable Geo, and Pretty Fighter X, among others.

Graphics: 3/10
The graphics are all semi-respectable before the battles start, but once they do, you will see some of the worst 2d animation you have ever seen. The backgrounds are pixelated, the characters look as if the they were drawn using only a palette of 16 colors, and badly at that. The graphics in this game are about as good as you would expect a horrible 5 year old Street Fighter 2 ripoff to be... and that's just what it is, except this game isn't 5 years old, so it is all the more inexcusable.

Sound: 6/10
The version I played was a rip, and had no CD audio, so I can't comment on the music. The sound, however, wasn't as horrible as the rest of the game. It contains your generic thumps, grunts, oohs, and voice samples, and they're all sampled at a pretty good rate. Some of the characters have obnoxious souding voice actresses however, and the thumps and such are't very bassy and barely made my subwoofer twinge.

Gameplay: 1/10
This is where this game is most deficient. The gameplay is just absolutely horrible. I can't think of many fighting games which has as little polish as this one. There are almost no moves which knock an opponent down, and moves come out with little lag time after, making countering attacks near impossible. It's basically a hit-buttons-as-fast-as-you-can fighter. Which, I guess is fine, if the game pulls it off well, but this definately is not the case here.

Overall: 2/10
Avoid this game at all costs. If you want to play a chick fighter, do yourself a favor and pick up one of the earlier mentioned titles. This game is bad, real bad.
