Throughout America, Saturn is supposedly be a competition of Playstation in the video game market. Yet, it have done exactly the opposite. While in Asian Countries, Saturn sales is approximately the same as Playstation. The reason for this is because a lot of good RPG and a lot of other good Japanese games are not released for Saturn in America. This is one of the games that need to be release in America.

For many people's knowledge, this game is actually combined in making by both Sega and Atlus. This game takes on action RPG. You might ask, what is action RPG? Well if you remember Secret of Mana you would have a brief idea of how this game play works. The game is actually in a battle ring of the opponent where you have a Life bar and a power bar. The power bar is necessary to do all moves such as block, move, and attack. There are also special attacks which you can do that deducts the power in the power bar (Do not use special attack unless you are sure because it deducts a lot of power). When you run out of power, you can either use items or stay at the same place and wait till the bar go back up. This might sound confusing or hard but once you get the hang of it, you would be hooked on the game like me.

The story behind this game is that about 25 years ago, a demon tribe went on a rampage and attacked the human world. During that time, a kingdom by the name of Valenadine have a Queen name Alemana (correct me if i am wrong on spelling). Because of her bravery, courage, leadership, and power, she led the kingdom to fight back and won. This made the world peaceful for awhile. Yet, 25 years after, the Queen passed away, and her third daughter who is only 13 at the time, took the thrown of the kingdom. When this time came about, the demon tribe came into play again and the lives of the human world are being threatened once again.

I am simply amazed at the graphics of this game. The characters are pretty big in size and the motion and facial expression are captured really well by Atlus. Although this game have been delayed and delayed for a while, the final release is simply amazing. The charcter designs are really cute as well and the music is worth mentioning. Something else worth mentioning is that this game also have a loading speed of a snail, if you do not have a ram card or the laser head is not smooth, the loading speed would really get you fustrated because the disc loads many times. But overall, this is one of the best Saturn RPG games out there.
