Summer, time for fun, time for relaxation, time for... well anything really. To think, most companies would choose to release a lot of main stream titles during summer (end of school year/beginning school year) since a lot of people might have time to play them. Unfortunately this is not the case.

Susume, created by Seal Staff, is yet another poorly designed game that is designed for the japanese impaired. The storyline to this game is about your parents died at a very early age and your sister took on the role of raising you. Soon enough, your sister became a doctor in neurology (they didn't quite say neurology but rather a scientist who is studying the brain as of that moment). She created a machine called VSP that generates a simulation world. This simulation, needs two subjects, a man and a woman (not surprising). Thus you, a high school student, brings in a classmate to do this "experiment".

In the simulation world, there are four stories. First one is about a teacher and a student's love. Second story is about a demon taking control over a city and your the person to save the princess. Third story is about you being a security guard and you taking advantage of a girl whom shop lifted at a store. Fourth story is about your dad remarrying this young women.

I don't need to say much, if you are a H-gamer you would know where these storylines would lead to. These stories have a certain way to enter though. You need to built up the girls love and tolerance level before you can enter the stories or even get to a CERTAIN part of the story (you can tell lots of tolerance is needed for the girl to portray a role of a school girl getting blackmailed by the security guard). One thing to mention is that you meet another girl in school whom you also can bring to the VSP world.

Pros: Drawings are not great yet the colors are very solid. Solid being referred to as not very dotty in colors like 16 or 256 colors.

Cons: A lot. Not a very original storyline, very childish CG screens (looks like doujinshi artists), and if you utilize your save screen wisely, it is easy to determine how to beat this game even if you don't know japanese.

Final Statement: Another game worth skipping over for regular H-gamers who focuses on graphics, gameplay, and story. For those other H-gamers who like pictures only, well maybe this is good if you liked Libido.
